Leiite - How to look after your body writing

How to look after your body.
Did you know we need 7 hour sleep each night so your brain and work, at the age of 14 to 17 years you need at least 8 to 10 hours of sleep and at the age of young adults 18 to 25 years you need 7 to 9 hours of sleep at the age of 26 to 64 you need the same about of sleep as young adults need 7 to 9 sleep humans can go about 264 hours without any sleep (11 days) In 1965, Randy Gardner, a 17-year-old high school student, set this apparent world-record for a science fair.

You don’t need to eat fruit vegetables everyday or all the time you can have unhealthy food but you need to have less of them and more fruit vegetables fruits and vegetables are good sources vitamins You may hear your doctor call it “LDL cholesterol.” You have a greater chance of getting heart disease when your LDL level gets too high. If you need to be up at 6.30am head to bed at 9:15 pm or 10:45 pm for optimal results. Best time to wake up  6:30am. The goal is to wake up at sunrise, after having 7 hours of restful sleep the keys to a good night's sleep are to go to bed before 11pm sleep in a cool dark pitch black room & avoid visual stimulation an hour before bed.

A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and good fats can help lower what's sometimes called “bad cholesterol”. In 1965, Randy Gardner, a 17-year-old high school student, set this apparent world-record for a science fair. You may hear your doctor call it “LDL cholesterol”. You have a greater chance of getting heart disease when your LDL level gets too high. Your body uses water in all its cells, organs, and tissues to help regulate its temperature and maintain other bodily functions because your body loses water through breathing sweating and digestion it's important to rehydrate by drinking fluids and eating foods that contain water.

Leiite - Why Is Slavery A Problem

Slavery is a big thing in america and some other countries. Slavery is one of the thing that everyone agrees is unethical in fact there is such general agreement that most people would probably say that slavery is wrong just because it’s wrong. In 1619 twenty Africans were brought to the English colony of Jamestown. Virginia historians are undecided if the legal practice of slavery began there since at least. Slavery had been practice in British America from early colonial days and was legal in all thirteen colonies at the time of the declaration of independence in 1776. It  lasted in about half the states until 1065. When it was prohibited nationally by the thirteenth Amendment. Southerners didn’t think that slavery is a bad thing. Many Southerners thought that slavery was good they gave slaves a place to stay, food to eat and in some cases medicine to help them stay healthy! Some southerners even wrote stories about how slaves had free time to socialise have fun and spend time with their families!.

Leiite - Martin Luther King Jr. 2.0

Leiite - Justifying our Thinking

Leiite - How To Be An Upstander

How to be an Upstander. A Upstander is someone who recognizes when something is wrong and acts to make it right, when someone is standing up for something that is right and do our best to help support and protect the person who is hurt. Nelson Mandela is a good Upstander because of what he did for everyone in Africa, Martin Luther King Jr is another great Upstander because he did the same thing like what Nelson Mandela did tried to get all racism to an end.

Martin  Luther King Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the civil rights movement from 1954 until his death in 1968. Born in Atlanta, King is best known for advancing civil rights through nonviolence and civil disobedience, tactics his Christian beliefs and the nonviolent activism of Mahatma Gandhi helped inspire. While others were advocating for freedom by “any means necessary,” including violence, Martin Luther King, Jr. used the power of words and acts of nonviolent resistance, such as protests, grassroots organizing, and civil disobedience to achieve seemingly-impossible goals.

Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela was born on July 18, 1918 in Mvezo, South Africa. He got the nickname Nelson from a teacher in school. Nelson was a member of Thimphu royalty and his father was chief of the city of Mvezo. Nelson Mandela tried to prove to everyone in the world that brown people are equal to white people. Yes some brown people faster or smarter then some white people or white people are faster and smarter than some brown people but that doesn't mean that white people are better than brown people or brown people are better than white people. Because Nelson Mandela tried to prove that brown people and white people are the same that just got himself into prison for the next 27 years. He just really wanted all people of all races to have equal rights in South Africa. His prison sentence brought international visibility to the anti-apartheid movement, he was finally released through international pressure in 1990. When he got released everyone in South Africa decided to make Nelson Mandela the president of South Africa because of what he did, why he did it, and for who he did it for. So like back in those days if a white female married a brown male they would end up in prison or if a brown female married a white male would of ended up into prison (It’s just the other way around). All the white people had the most better jobs and had more money. All brown people had the most worst jobs and had less money, everyone is equal no one is better than the other person. Different skin color different centre doesn’t mean that your better than the other person. Everyone is equal.

Leiite - My Life

Hi my name is Leiite I really like rugby and play for school in
under 68 kgs. I am also looking for a club to play in I am currently
playing for marist and also for fiafia I was in the samoan group
trying to do my culture proud.

Well with all that out of the way my life in the past is not really
interesting I broke my arm like about four or five times, I grew up
in a little neighborhood grew up with a lot of friends and family
nothing really sad or interesting in my life.

I just want to be the one person everyone wants to be when they
grow up a health, caring, helpful, funny, nice, and respectful person.
I’m not perfect nobody is perfect but you can be that one person
you really want to be in your life, like just be the change you want
to see in the world.

I use to just go play outside but now I just play inside on my PS4
or with my brothers I think staying inside helped me to be a better
boy, my father once said “Make today so AWESOME yesterday
will get jealous you have to start with respect”.

By staying inside the house and playing here helped my a lot
when I played outside I use to always get in trouble with like the
police but it was never me it was the people who I was around
or playing with. My brother started letting me play on his PS4
and I enjoyed it so I stayed in more and played more I did read,
writing and doing my maths my brother said to be “Until I get my
own PS4” I could play on his one, but I finally learned how to
forgive myself for all the bad things I’ve had done in the past.

Leiite My Name Is Rez

Leiite Review: Adventure For Good

Adventure For Good

They were four days that we would never forget. They were four days that saw our year eight school group learn, laugh and grow together as we took part in a variety of activities such as bush craft, visiting historical sites and kayaking. This fabulous experience would not have been possible had it not been for our hosts at Adventure for Good.

Adventure for Good is a leadership camp based in Russell, New Zealand. Some activities such as bushcraft are held on the campground, while other activities are located throughout the Bay of Islands. The facilitators at Adventure for Good guide their visitors through each activity and they are open to tailoring the trip to your specific needs.

The organisation is able to facilitate numerous activities including; sea kayaking, scuba diving, hiking, sailing (on one of their four vessels), bush craft and surfing. We were also provided with the opportunity to spend time at the Wait Treaty Grounds to learn more about culture and history. We learnt so much from this trip because of the variety of experiences, it was such a great choice for a school camp!angi

My favourite activities were the kayaking and sailing. Our kayaking guide Sarah chose a really beautiful beach for us to kayak on and we rowed around a few bays which were so stunning. We also had a good laugh doing some mini races and we played a game were we had to run across all of the Kayaks without falling in the water.

The sailing was very relaxing in comparison to the kayaking. We sat on large beanbags and sailed out around the Bay of Islands. A few of us also took turns to hoist the sail and helped out on board. This was a once in a lifetime experiences for a bunch of thirteen year olds from East Auckland! When we returned to camp after the sailing we also got to have a bonfire and toast marshmallows. This was great as it warmed us up from being on the seas and the marshmallows were delicious!

I would recommend this camp to any school group looking to mix history with adventure. The facilitators were all really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable so it was fantastic having them as our guides and teachers. The mix of activities meant that we students got to have a lot of fun and new experiences, while also learning about the Treaty of Waitangi and New Zealand History.  The only thing we would change would be to go in the summer so it would be warmer during our outdoor activities, but this was not the camps fault!

Overall I give this camp 5 stars. I hope I will get to return one day!

Who should read the review would it help? People that have never been to a camp.

What was the purpose of the review? It is about Adventure .
