What is a Scientist?

Today we did what we did yesterday but with a different word. The new word today was, "Scientist" I wrote down what I thought a Scientist was, then watched two different videos to see what it really meant. 13 of the boxes are the things I thought what it meant and what I got from the videos.

Today was the day my friend and I had a sleepover at my house. We were practicing for the five hundred miles race we both were the top 10 fastest 17-year-old´s in the whole of our little city called, “The Citizens,” I waited for him in the front of my house then about two or three minutes later he shows up he jumps out the car and does how secret handshake we go inside and went straight in my room my parents weren’t home so we just spent the whole day in my room watching movies and Youtube. Then about 8 hours later my parents come home and they brought Pizza with them they told me to come down I think they forgot that my friend his names John, by the way, is spending the weekend with us so as I was cleaning the table I remembered them that John was here and his just in my room waiting for me, “Oh how could I forget go tell him to come downstairs it’s dinner time,” said my Mother from the Kitchen. I went upstairs to my room to tell him but I stop cause I heard him talking to someone. No one else was in there and his phone is died charging, “What ?” I said in shock or is he just talking to himself again so I slowly opened the door and said, “John… John !?”. He came out with another phone I have never seen that kinda phone in my life so I asked “Who’s and where did you get the phone from ?”, “Zombies are coming! We need to get to the nearest bunker with food and water ASAP!” he replied in frighten “Hahaha what a joker,” I said in laughter.“ No! I’m serious we need to get you and your family out of here and get away,” said John in a hurry, I could see his not fooling around “Okay wait! What about your family? don’t we need to save them to ?”. “No there safe in a bunker at a secret hideout, we need to get there and hide with them there’s plenty of food to eat and water to drink, all that food would last us up to… at least 20 to 30 years,” said John, “Come on no time to lose we must get out of here,” I said to John in a rush we ran downstairs and my Mum said, “Finally I’m starving,” I said, “Mum, Dad, there are zombies coming we must go Now!” my Mum and Dad just laughed they took a box of Pizza and went to the sitting room to watch the news and what do you know it comes up with Zombies say we need to find safety our house is not safe right now. So my Mum and Dad got up in a rush grabbed bags and filled them up with food and got these big bottles and filled them up with water my Dad grabbed them all and put them in the back boot of the car, my Dad ran downstairs he said he needed to get something he went to the basement he screamed, “Found it!” he came back up but not just with himself but with a Shotgun too!, “What ?!” I said where did you get that from? My dad didn’t answer. I quickly ran back upstairs to get my baseball bat my friend Mat gave to me as a reminder, we all were in the car and went off to my friend John’s secret bunker. 12 years passed on by… half of the Food and Water that was there is almost finished, “John!” I screamed across the basement, “What !?” he replied as he was confused on why I yelled his name, “The foods and Water is almost gone we need to get out there and find some more,” I said so we head off to find some more Food, as we got out we walked for at least 30 minutes, “I see something there John,” I said he runs to it so I follow him there, “Is it a bird ? is it a plane ? wait ! it is a plane,” John said we both start laughing, we stopped and looked at the planes it was all rusty and molded there were four planes there we went inside it and of cause the 29-year-olds we are, we go inside them all to find nothing we even tried to start them up but nothing happen it worked for a second like the engine started then stopped, we tried again to start it up again but nothing. Then I saw a Helicopter on the other side of the fourth plane so I went to it with John, John jumped in and tried starting it up, “It works!” John yelled in happiness we decided to leave it there and get everyone else that was in the banker, “Guys guys!” I yelled as I walked in, everyone looked at me and was asking, “What is it Nick what is it ?” I said well smiling, “John do you want to tell them,”, “there’s a working Helicopter outside we were gonna leave but we couldn’t without you guys come on let’s go,” said John, “Wait! John, do you even know how to fly it ?” I said, “Actually Nick your Father use to fly Helicopter I’m sure you still got skills, honey,” said Nick’s Mother. We all got out we took the Food and Water with us, we all got on the Helicopter we flew up and left off we saw a big group of people my Father tried to see if it was humans or zombies we got closer and closer they waved at us and yelled, “Hello Hello land here we can help you!!” I said, “Dad land it, me and John will go out you can Mum stay here okay ?”, “No Nick it’s to Ricky I’ll go out there,” said my Father, “No your not going out there I’m going,” I replied. I got out and walked towards the person who yelled at us I was thinking he was the leader he said his name was Ben and the people with him as friends and family members they had lots of guns and weapons there a lot of food and water they had house to ride on and gardens they had lots of animals chickens, lambs, cows and more they let us into their and teached as how to fight and kill zombies.

“Hurry up Sally and Billy get out of bed your be late!!” yelled my Mother (Kate) from the bottom of the stairs “Come on kids I’m going to the car soon you either go with him or you take the bus to school”, I sat up in my bed and got out, I went to go wake up Sally “(Choke choke) I’m sick… I got a cold” said Sally “I’ll go and till Mom and Dad then” I replied. “Okay fine then till Sally to stay in bed I’ll make her something to eat and hurry up and get ready it’s 7:42 your gonna be late” Said my Mother (Kate) so off I went to till her, as I got there she was fast asleep so I left here there, I went to go get ready Had a shower, Brushed my teeth and hair, Put on some fresh socks and my shoes I looked at the time it was 8:15 I’m almost late my Father had already left as he said I kissed my sister (Sally) and my Mother (Kate) goodbye and so I went off to the bus stop. And now I wait. I waited there for about 5 minutes then the bus came my school starts at nine but I always like to get there before 8:30 to hang out with my friends. I got to school then I just remembered there was a Basketball game today and they all left. Should I go or should I stay ? I thought to myself it took me 10 minutes to think about it maybe if I just go now and leave there at 8:40 besides it’s just down the road and the times 8:21 anyways. So I left to go and watch the basketball game it was our school vs the other best basketball team in the whole of West this was the finals I thought the game should've been after school instead of the morning but no one was listening to me or the other kids that was saying that, the score was 15 to 13 we were losing “Time out!!” Yelled the coach from our team I went over to them and told them what they should do but they told me to just move on so I sat down and just watched I look at the time SHOOT!! I yelled it’s the time is 9:23 I’m late so I ran outside of the courts I ran like 5 big Dogs and 10 Police officers were on my back I got to class all sweaty but cause that the basketball game was a home game and only down the road it took me about 30 seconds to get to school and because I always run I like to go out for runs on Saturdays and sometimes Sunday. I got to class and everyone was looking at me the teacher (Mrs Barry) asked “what where you doing all this time” “Oh uhhh I went to watch the basketball game Miss” before I could finish off what I was saying she cut me off and said “It’s Mrs Barry to you thank you very much” “Sorry Mrs Barry” I replied she said I get Saturday detention and It’s Wednesday I could properly wag it but then I would get two days of it. It’s not wothe I’ll just go all good. (Saturday) Ring ring ring ring “uhh hello ?” as I answered the phone in tiredness “Hello is this Rickie ?” said the person on the phone “Yes” as I replied then I quickly looked at the time WHAT ? IT’S 9:53. So I quickly got out of bed and at the same time talking to the person I the phone, as I was talking i found out it’s Mrs Barry, I got into the car I was trying WAY past the speed limit then I saw this short cart then… BOOM!! Wh… what… where I is that a girl she’s holding a light or something I walked towards her wait is that school ? yeah it is I can see the school bus parked the hall and everything else. So I go to talk to the girl “Hey” I screamed out loud to the little girl “Touch my finger” she said it was glowing so I listen… and touched it… awww wait what was I just dreaming ? I woke up back in home the phone was ringing so I answered it “Hello” I said “Is this Rickie ?” replied the person on the phone I think I teleported. The End.

It was a normal night for Sally and her little cousin Jimmy. Sally's 14 and Little Jimmy's only 8 Sally likes to call little Jimmy because his the size of a 5 year old as you would say “short” the rain was dropping down the sky there was a storm “SUDDENLY!”. The power went out there was things falling from the table “EARTHQUAKE!” They both went under the table “wait… it’s not an earthquake you silly billy” said Sally “What! What is it then Sally you know better than me anyways” little Jimmy said “I don’t know what it is but it’s definitely not an earthquake” Sally said BOOM! “Did you hear that…” said little Jimmy “wait… shh… can you that?” said Sally. Little Jimmy looked over his head “ Sally stop touching me it’s getting annoying” said little Jimmy Sally said “you stop touching me it’s honestly annoying, okay JIMMY! STOP!” Sally turned around then suddenly she ran “STOP!” Screamed Jimmy “why is she running” said little Jimmy in his head he turned around then he run there for he saw something and he got scared.
