Leiite, Jacob, & Paschal - ChromeWow
This week for Writing Jacob, Paschal, and I had to make a Script about anything related to school. Jacob came up with an idea called "ChromeWow" we copied a video add about "ShamWow". We all wrote a script for ourselves and repeated it in our heads over and over again. We talked about how ChromeWow is so amazing and why you should buy it. Our main line we said was, "ChromeWow will make you say wow!". It was a fun journey well me, Jacob, and Paschal were recording.

Hey, here’s a book and pen. You’ll have to do all the work but when you use the ChromeWow it changes everything and you’ll be saying Wow just Wow. Guess what, it changes your whole life.

Leiite - Octopus
This week for inquiry Room one was looking at Octopus. We found out a lot of amazing and wonderful things about Octopus the thing that amazed me about a Octopus is how they give birth and that they can camouflage twice a day.

Leiite - My Genome Sequence
Our bodies are exceptionally clever. Our body does all sort of stuff. These things don't happen with magic. Way down our cells is chemicals called DNA. These instructions are made up of four chemical letters that are called A, G, T, and C. These letters repeat over Six billion times. If you were to read it out loud it would take you 57 years!. There is something in your body called, "Genome Sequence". Around 99 percent of our sequences are the exact same. The other One percent is the percent that makes us all different. It decides everything form our height to our eye colour.

Leiite - Create Task
For week one me and my group Paua where looking at Dr. Melaine Chung. We looked at why she uses tikanga Maori in her work as a neurobiologist. But she wasn’t just using that she was doing other things too. She taught us how the Brain works and what it does in our body, she taught us that the Brain controls all our body parts it tells his to move, think, feel, and create it also tells us that everyone thought that the Brain stopped growing at the age of eighteen and that your Brain cells would soon die. She took it from loved ones that have passed. Most Maori people believe that when you die you should return to the Mother Earth in one piece. But before Dr. Melaine Chung could take the Brain from the people that have passed she must Pray and show respect towards them and the family. Dr. Melanie Chung has talked to a lot of Maori elders about what she is doing. Dr. Melanie Chung taught me that the Neurobiology is a study of cells of the nervous system and that the organization of these cells into functional circuits that process information and mediate behavior. But before all that she found out that is was called Huntington’s disease. She joined a group to find a cure for huntington's disease. She started her research in a laboratory, studying damaged brain cells. She found out that you can’t catch the Huntington’s disease from other people and that it is hereditary, which means it is passed down through families. Not long ago scientists thought that getting Neuroplasticity that the brain wouldn’t change after childhood.
Leiite - School Hours Persuasive
Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher, can change the world. This quote was made by Malala Yousafzai. Do you want to get smarter and smarter everyday?.
I strongly believe that school gets you smarter and that school hours should be stay the same from 8:30am to 3:00pm. When you go to school you get your age book the book that you need. Your teacher will give you a reading sheet to read quietly to yourself and when you feel like the time is right to read it you would. The teacher would finish off your reading test and give you your real age Reading level and to see if you passed or not. At home you can read a book but it might be easy or it might be too hard therefore you can tell when it’s easy or hard. When it’s easy it has a whole lot of words you know and can understand when it’s hard the words would be too big and too hard for you to read and sometimes you can’t find a good book that is for you. Look at it my way, if your a year Six and your reading a year Six book what if the next year when your a year Seven you are still reading a year Six book you just never knew about it and by the time your year Eight your reading a year Seven year level. Cutting down the school day doesn’t help the Student with a good education and a better future.
It's easy to fall behind in school, whether you're smart or not – it's a lot of work!. But for school Writing is easy or hard for you. There’s nothing wrong about writing at home but your gonna have to find things that can help you with your writing for example SEE S: Statement E: Explanation E: Example. If I didn’t come to school but still did work I could never find this out myself. And I could never know how to use it. If I had hardly anything to come to school and learn how to Write I this wouldn’t be here right now looking like this.
Math, for Math it might be that one subject that you dislike. I am not a big fan of Math but this year it’s really fun at school. I could do Math at home but what if you didn’t understand it and your Brothers and Sisters and out as well as your Parents and you had no one to help you with your Maths. If I had hardly anytime at school I believe I would have less things I could have learnt, more work I didn’t understand.

Leiite - Persuasion Map
Today we had to pick if we agreed or disagreed with the problem. Should school start later and end earlier was the problem I disagreed with it. We had to give three different reasons why we disagreed I shows my name three reason and behind that we had to give three more reason behind them.
