This week we learned about how to simple sentence into a compound sentence. Simple Sentences Susie went to the pools. Susie forgot her togs. Compound Sentence Susie went to the pools, and Susie forgot her togs. The simple sentence Susie went to the pools. Susie forgot her togs. This is talking about Susie going to the pools but there were talking about Susie first then we but a full stop in between Susie forgetting her togs. Compound Sentence The compound sentence. Susie went to the pools, and Susie forgot her togs. in this compound sentence they are still talking about Susie going to the pools but there in it, it had a comma in between Susie forgetting her togs. They were talking about Susie going to the pools and forgetting her togs together.
